Another Great One guys, you are really keeping up the standard and I’m loving the different themes each week.

Good podcast again, and even though I am a regular tournament guy still got a lot from it. I think the trick to dealing with that guy, if you are unlucky enough to get him is to stand your ground and be strong. I’m not sure pussyfooting around will do the trick.

Oh, and lets get real here guys, the Vendetta is the only way to go and the Valk is just redundant next to it.

I think your right, pussyfooting won’t but there may other techniques that mean you don’t need to always stand your ground in a firm way of that isn’t in your personality – I know it isn’t in mine. We will do a segment on dealing with it if enough listeners think it would be worthwhile.

For my sins I’m taking a valk to the next tournament we are attending ‘BOTCH’. Admittadly this is due to the comp system, but it will be a good chance for me to see what it can do and I’ve got a few ideas.

Right that’s it, you have inspired me. I’ll be coming to the TOS in October, so reserve me a room to stay!

Loved this podcast and I think for anyone thinking about going to a tournament, but was unsure before will be convinced now. xx

    Thanks for the comments guys.

@ Badboy – the Vend vs Valk debate i think will usually come down to the meta game in your gaming circle/area. Most of the time the detta comes out trumps due the mech being king at the moment but the valks are still good – i urge people to try them, you might be suprised.

@ Kirsty – Glad to hear it! Suppose we better get tickets too huh dave?

The Valk is a better transport, as it doesn’t get shot at nearly as much as a Vendetta. If you have something you want to keep mobile into the latter stages of the game then I’d say the Valk is a good bet, if you want to kill things then it’s the Vendetta. 40k isn’t just about doing damage, which gives the Valk a slot in some builds I reckon.

Steve, that Nid player was me! At least you learned not to put vindicators within 12″ of the side when playing againsy outflanking stealers. See you next time …
